Slovakia. Europe is having a good snow year. I hope to snow kite Loveland Pass next month in Colorado ~ 12,000 feet of altitude.

Loveland Pass is awesome!! never snowkited there. actually drove there by accident and got out to look around, did a little hiking across the ridge. Nice place wish i could head back out that way!

apparently it is one of the few Colorado mountain snow kite spots accessible without a snowmobile. I remember seeing snowboarders there back in the early days when they were banned from all ski areas.

i wish i knew about

i wish i knew about snowkiting when i was there 2 years ago! it would've been awesome. Trying to find something like that around here isn't gonna happen.

There is snow kiting to be had around here, it's just that some years are better than others. And nailing the right surface and wind conditions is an art.

surface conditions are smoooth

This is where the years of ice hockey help, Light wind, small kite and go,
Oya and don't forget the pads.
