Time Lapse Weekend-not necessarily a kiteboard video but features kiteboarding at Chapin Beach
So, this isn't necessarily a kiteboard video, but I'm in film school and during the filming of this experimental project I luckily came across Kristof and crew kiting at Chapin Beach in Dennis, which made the whole movie a lot more entertaining. They told me to post it up on this site so I hope they see it. I'm learning how to kite and absolutely love it so I'm hoping to eventually get a lot more footage and put together a kite specific movie. Hope you enjoy my first attempts.

Nate, we should try to get a lot of footage this season. I'm proposing a series for FuelTV, you could be crew! Can you also get waterproof lipstick cams? If you want to learn to kite, throw out the C-kite and start using a bow. The depower allows you to control your speed and trajectory for quick progression. Are you interested in Snowkiting? I go to film school at the
I go to film school at the Boston University Center for Digital Imaging, we use the Sony EX-1, which is what I used to film this project. The song is called Different Sound by the Teddybears.
I am definitely interested in filming under one condition, someone finish teaching me how to kite! I have a few C-kites I bought off a guy in Wellfleet, and I've gotten as far as body dragging and after that I never heard from him again. I had so much fun just flying the kite that I've been dying to put it all together. I surf, snowboard, and wakeboard so I feel like I should pick it right up.
As for the filming, I have to rent the camera out from the school, so if anyone wants to set something up let me know and we can arrange it. I also have kayaks which I'm told are an excellent way to capture kiteboarding footage, let me know!

What film school are you attending? What was the soundtrack from? What was experimental about the movie? Might want to squeeze the image a little to letterbox the 16X9 into the 4X3

anyone interested in doing some filming should let me know!
I haven't been on here in a while if anyone is still interested in filming shoot me a message, I'm trying to build up my reel with all the action sports I can find (and still trying to learn to kite!) I'm on Cape Cod for the summer so if anyone's interested let me know.
