MASSkiting Hatteras Trip

This is the trip that defined MASSkiting as a kiteboarding community that is serious about getting together and traveling. Once a year our New England based community heads south for flat water and a pre-season gathering. Hatteras North Carolina is our flat water destination of choice for a pre-season week long kite party. This is a chance to work on whatever skills you need in knee deep water as far as the eye can see. We wake up and launch our kites right out of the back yard of one of the many houses that we rent. While some people kite others are just enjoying the fair weather by the pool or BBQ. These houses are decked out with elevators, theatres, pool rooms, hot tubs, each room has a private bath, and views of all the kitesurfing action right out back. For this one week going on the annual MASSKiting HAtteras trip is like being back in college with so much going on. The downwinders are also very special as with so many people we can really get a chance to go from point A to B on a floating armata of kites. If you are looking to travel with 50 or so friends fro a week in kite heaven on a easy budget this is the trip for you!
