My first time out snowkiting and I was impressed. Paul is a seasoned snowkiting vet growing up in Minnesota. We were skeptical but ended up having a good day.

The lake was frozen solid and there was decent snow coverage. Of course, there were a few icy spots and a couple of slush holes but for the most part, the snow was about 5 or so inches deep. Winds were up and down and a bit gusty but nothing overwhelming. All in all we had fun and probably got 1-2 hours in.

Mental note to self...bring helmet and wear ski pants not jeans!

Just for fun I'm gonna guess

Just for fun I'm gonna guess Lake Q but I may have the scenery wrong... Yea I'm curious too, I didn't think Lake Q had that much snow.
