Maryland Snowkite Sesh

I've been waiting a long time for this day. I've spent many days eyeballing different farms and fields near my house in Frederick since I moved up here. But for 3 years the conditions just haven't panned out............ till Sunday!
I've snowkited a small field at a school, 3 or 4 times , but this time Steves and I went knocking on doors to ask permission to use the land and scored. The land owner was skeptical at first but eventually let us do it. He was very specific that we don't advertise , sorry
Conditions were almost perfect, a little light, and a little too deep/wet but way doable. I was able to power up the hills with a few loops no problem. Later, just as I was letting Steves fly the Manta for the first time, the wind kicked in big time and was very hurtful with the insane gusts and direction change. Steves said he witnessed a small snow cyclone near me, must have been what folded my kite in half and caused me to experience a serious ass kicking!
