One Week in OOB

Got out of work early on Fri only to get stuck in traffic for 3 plus hrs so by the time I got to OOB I was in high gear (to much caffeine)so I said hi to the fam and set up. Thermals were up and running low to mid teens and got to ride for two hrs till dinner. Sat brought another nice day hot and clear so like clock work around 11:00am thermals kicked in, again low to mid teens rode my surfboard for the first time for most of the session forcing myself to ride toe side cause the jibing thang aint working. I only put down my kite once to repump the leading edge, slow leak? Got five hrs in what a day!! Now here it is Sun morning and things look to be shaping up just like yesterday, here we go:) Call me if you are in the area...508-208-9272

Tues was great got out at 11
Tues was great got out at 11 when the thermals turned on rode out front fot a couple hrs then did a two mile down winder to Pine Point rode in the slick for a while then did some wicked long tacks to get back home. The wind was low to mid teens so rode my surfboard quite a bit, was out for 6hrs all in all a fantastic day!!

Wed sucked hot and sunny
Wed sucked hot and sunny hanging on the beach all day, Oh yea that what the beach was all about before kiting. Wind was blowing off shore all morning then swiched to side shore so I set up and off I went about 200yrds out the wind stoped and my kite fell from the sky not enough to relaunch so drifted to shore only to have the wind change completly to off shore, so packed up and played frissbee.

Dam another hot and sunny day
Dam another hot and sunny day on the beach with no wind:( Jean came up so we played frisbee, all in all great day:)

Fri turned out to be the best
Fri turned out to be the best day all week!! Wind in the mid to high teens with some nice waves from Bill, 4-6ft where they were breaking and even higher out where they were rolling. Had a great week with wind 4 out of 7 days. Wish I could stay for the waves that Bill will deliver this weekend but got to go home sometime.
well I jinxed myself for Sun by bringing my gear down before it was time. The wind picked up a little around 3:00 and looked like it was going to build so off I went only to have the wind die right away, I got in 4-5 tacks and came to shore and did the walk of shame back to camp. Mabey Mon
