saturday - revere or winthrop?

We kicked off Saturday early, arriving at Yirell around 10:30AM. The tide was high and the storm surge brought it almost up to the wall! What a change from yesterday! Big breakers crashing right on the beach, the entire jetty underwater. There wasn't enough beach to get out of the wind shadow and launch, so we decided to take a drive and get a bite to eat.
5-Sisters wasn't clean like Friday, and the road was flooded out on the south side. Had lunch at the Italian place in the center of town, it was pretty decent.
Joined back up with the crew at Revere beach. The wind chop was pretty big, and there was plenty of beach to launch. The wind was up and down, but most of us were able to get out on 12-14m kites.
The wind clocked around to dead onshore at Revere and that was our cue to head back to Yirell. Chris and I packed up and headed over to the beach. The water had flattened out on the inside, with decent size rollers breaking in the bay. Chris and I kited till dark in near-perfect wind with some good sized waves.
