Strapless is Bliss
It was sooooo sweet. Got there with Pete at 8, wind kicked up at 9. Got 3 hours+ on the hook with the Waroo 13 on the Wainman Hawaii 5'8" wide style Surfboard strapless. Was able to ride upwind in a jiffy to play in the waves that stack up at the entrance to the Essex River. Waves were small, which allowed me to learn the whole strapless surfing thing - wow what a feeling. The rides were soooo long! Jibing is tricky, plenty of spinouts. One scary moment occurred when there was a sustained gust, I accelerated, didn't know how to side slip without straps, finally the board went flying this way, me that way, and I hit the water surface at such high speed it knocked the wind out of me. I think I'm getting addicted to riding strapless...
I get it I send you off with a demo board and you go way up wind and hog it all to yourself then send me ransom pictures
? I drove out (late) to see you and you didn't swing through the place you told me to meet you? I have the Mako King for you to demo. Can be like a small surfboard and dual twin tip as standard Mako. So looking forward to more strapless riding. I have pics of Lou on that board I am late to put up
the king!
that board looks sick!

goes out to Kitesurfer.us for providing the Wainman Surfboard demo
