Windy Wednesday
Morning Report: Wednesday started early with Rafi arriving before the sun was up. I arrived at about 9:30 to find Rafi out riding on an 11m, and Jean was about to head out on a 9m. The Easterly flow was strong and steady so I pumped up and joined the party. Heading out I found myself engulfed in large rollers that seemed to swallow you as you rode into them while riding back toward the beach gave a smoother ride with more workable wind and waves. After a few runs I made it out to the point to join Jean where he had found great water conditions and was tearing it up in the waves. After taking a few runs and spills at the point I unfortunately had to head to work, but I did take some time to take a few shots of the guys ripping it up. My apologies I forgot some of your names but I do have your photo. So how was the afternoon session?
I was thinking about you guys out there all day at work. Could feel the strong Fall winds filling in and was not even worried that it was getting chilly. Bring the wind and thanks for the pics, kinda makes me feel included
Thanks, Nick. This is very much appreciated.
afternoon session was killer.
was pretty lit on my 12m for a good five hours. jean was just packing up as i arrived. rose the point break for abit, then kited down to 5-sisters to meet up with coop. rode back to the point again, as the waves were building.
worked on some tricks and layed down some carves in the flats before packing it in. tommy arrived and went out, and skipper was just launching as i left. great full day session for masskiting.
