Newbie... pretty much. Started in 07, in the water, with 5 day lessons and a Cabrina kite package. Moved to snow last year, and had 3 trips to Skyline in Utah.

Snow... been in the water more than on top of it.
Took lessons in Thailand, 2007, on the island of Phuket. Started snowkiting last year.
I haven't jumped yet, but upwind and basics are solid.
