Newbie... pretty much. Started in 07, in the water, with 5 day lessons and a Cabrina kite package. Moved to snow last year, and had 3 trips to Skyline in Utah.

How and where did you Learn?:
Took lessons in Thailand, 2007, on the island of Phuket. Started snowkiting last year. Worst Kitemare:
After being convinced by an instructor that the safety leader to front line wasn't needed with an HD kite - the worst thing happened. During a violent crash the lines got tangled on the handle so that the kite stayed powered and I couldn't eject without loosing the kite for sure. Once at the beach, I managed to keep it just under control, but enough power to bury both my feet past my ankles. There was an ugly tree within 10 feet downwind of where my kite was pulling.
Do you like to ride snow or land?:
Snow... been in the water more than on top of it.
