How and where did you Learn?:

Learned in NY at Great South Bay, Long Island. I was driving to Brooklyn one day on the Belt Parkway and saw some kites out at Plum Beach, stopped driving and thought "There is NO way I'm not going to do that!" Hit up google that same day and found lessons with the awesome guys at Island Riders :)

How much gear have you trashed?:

Crashed my kite once into a tree - the tree was totally asking for it. (Fortunately I got off easy with just a tiny tear by my leading edge.)

Kiteboarding Ability:

I don't do major organ damage 9 out of 10 times.

Kiteboarding Skill Level: Beginner -upwind and jumping
