Beach info
Large enclosed bay. Very different conditions at low tide vs high tide.
-LOW TIDE- Beginner friendly. Large pebbly beach just stay away from parking lot and rocks. Entire bay is shin to waist deep except for a few channels of deeper water. Some sandbars exposed at dead low but enough water for kiting, except extreme low tides may run out of water, watch for occasional small rocks and obstacles. Good 3 hours each side of low tide.
-HIGH TIDE- Not beginner friendly. Deep water, some chop, no ridable waves. Beach in front of parking lot is completely covered. It\’s possible to launch and land to left. Watch out for large rocks hidden by high tide and wooden pole with platform for Osprey nest on beach.

Beach disappears at high tide, launch to the left.
Restrictions
This is more of an off-season beach, but chances are if you have good rideable winds in the summer there may not be many beachgoers.
Hazards
Grassy area for kite drying if you like goose poop. At high tide, beach in front of parking lot is completely covered. It\’s possible to launch and land to left. Jetty 1/3 mile down wind in N/NE wind, some large rocks to the left exposed at low tide but hidden at high, wooden pole with platform for Osprey nest to far left on beach, a line of rocks on beach exposed at low tide but partially hidden at high, rocks surrounding parking lot. A few rocks on sand bar near jetty at dead low tide.
Parking
Three is a mid-sized parking lot with approx 60 spots.
